Fast forward to 2015 I moved from Canada to Texas. Of course I have not sewn a thing since 2004 but NEEDED to have my fabric shipped (how could I live without it). I am married and have two beautiful stepdaughters Lee and Alex. Out comes my sewing machine. This time I decide to make clothes - how much harder can it be than quilting. Well as it turns out - quite a bit. Topstitch, serger, stitch-in-the ditch, french seams, knife pleats all words that meant absolutely nothing to me.

| Skull & Bow PJ Pants |
This Christmas I plan on making matching PJ pants for our entire family. Since I have never made PJ pants I needed to start practicing. After searching the web for an easy pattern to follow (BTW there are NO easy patterns for adult PJ pants) I found an excellent one (with a video to follow as well - even I can't screw this up) on www.madebymarzipan.com

| Monster Smash fabric |
And for all the fabric whores out there - here is a picture of the family christmas pajama fabric. There is one hiccup, I don't really have enough to make pants for everyone. So I have to get creative. I will keep you posted on it. It is called Monster smash and is sold out of every JoAnn's fabrics around us :( . The BEST part??? IT GLOWS IN THE FRICKEN DARK!!! I can't wait to see the look on everyone's faces!
